Die Veranstaltung führt in die digitale und vernetzte Wirtschaft ein. Die Internet-Ökonomie weist im Vergleich zu den Grundannahmen der Basisveranstaltungen zahlreiche Besonderheiten auf, die wichtige Implikationen für Marktstruktur, Effizienz und Regulierung aufweisen.

Notwendig ist ein solides Grundwissen in den Bereichen Analysis, Statistik, mikroökonomische Theorie und Spieltheorie.
