Das Seminar bietet einen Einblick in den Erwerb des Deutschen als Fremd- oder Zweitsprache im Kontext von Mehrsprachigkeit. Es geht u.a. folgenden Fragen nach: Wie entwickelt sich mehrsprachige Kompetenz? Welche Phänomene kennzeichnen den Sprachgebrauch mehrsprachiger Menschen? Welche Rolle spielt Mehrsprachigkeit bei der Identitätskonstruktion? Wie lässt sich Mehrsprachigkeit als Ressource im Fremdsprachenunterricht nutzen?
Im Mittelpunkt des Seminars stehen zentrale theoretische Ansätze, empirische Forschungsergebnisse sowie didaktische Implikationen für den Unterricht.

Die regelmäßige Teilnahme am Seminar sowie das Lesen von Fachtexten zur Sitzungsvorbereitung werden vorausgesetzt.
