Diese Übung ist der zweite Teil der Einführung in die Internationalen Beziehungen. Die Übung ist in drei Blöcke unterteilt: Im ersten Block werden ausgewählte Theorien der Internationalen Beziehungen vertieft besprochen. Im zweiten Block geht es um den grundlegenden Wandel der Weltpolitik in den letzten 200 Jahren und eine historische Perspektive auf heutige Wandlungsprozesse wie etwa den sich wieder verstärkenden Wettbewerb unter den Großmächten. Im dritten Block werden am Beispiel der globalen Klimapolitik verschiedene Aspekte von Weltpolitik beleuchtet und vertieft, darunter Governance-Prozesse, die Rolle von Zukunftsprognosen und die Gestaltbarkeit weltpolitischen Wandels.
