239838 Onomasiologischer Sprachvergleich: Theorie und Praxis anhand der romanischen Sprachen (S) (SoSe 2012)

Strukturen, Funktionen und Bedeutungen von historischen Sprachen miteinander zu vergleichen scheint auf dem ersten Blich relativ einfach. Im Endeffekt scheint es ja "nur" darum zu gehen, Äquivalenzen zu finden, zu beschreiben und ggf. zu erklären. Spätestens seit der Genfer Schule des Strukturalismus wird diese Sicht auf verschiedene Weise hinterfragt und es stellt sich die Frage nach dem sog. tertium comparationis, d. h. nach sprachunabhängigen Größen, die als Maßtab für den Vergleich dienen. In dieser Veranstaltung sollen Ansätze unterschiedlicher Schulen anhand von Kategorien aus dem Bereich von Tempus, Aspekt und Modus vorgestellt und diskutiert werden und diese am Beispiel der romanischen Sprachen praktisch erprobt werden.
