Das Modul gliedert sich in vier Veranstaltungsteile. Im Wintersemester (MPH 10) werden die Grundlagen quantitativer und qualitativer Methoden der empirischen Gesundheitsforschung in zwei Strängen (Seminarteilen) erarbeitet. Im Vordergrund stand im Seminarteil “Qualitative Forschung” die gedankliche Durchdringung und Einübung des Forschungsprozesses qualitativer Gesundheitsforschung. Zugleich wurde als Studienleistung ein Forschungsplan für den Bereich Qualitative Forschung erstellt.
In diesem 2. Seminar ‘Spezifische Methoden Qualitativer Forschung’ (MPH 20) werden auf Grundlage der Forschungspläne qualitative Fragestellungen und Methoden eingeübt und umgesetzt.

Um das Seminar erfolgreich abzuschließen, ist eine regelmäßige Teilnahme erforderlich. Die aktive Teilnahme am Seminar wird u.a. durch zwei Aktivitäten belegt: (a) Durchführung und Transkription eines Leitfadeninterviews oder einer Fokusgruppe, (b) Präsentation der Ergebnisse auf der Abschlussveranstaltung.
Die Prüfungsleistung wird in Form einer Hausarbeit im Umfang von 8-10 Seiten (à 2.000 Zeichen pro Seite) abgelegt. Die Anmeldung erfolgt bis zum 21.06.2024 über das Sekretariat der AG 6 (Ina.Horn@uni-bielefeld.de). Themenausgabe erfolgt am 28.06.2024. Die Hausarbeit ist bis zum 09.08.2024 abzugeben (Abgabe als PDF über den Abgabeordner im Lernraum).
