Mit der Photographie ist immer noch die Vorstellung einer authentischen Abbildung verbunden. Viele sehen in ihr gar eine Kopie gegebener Wirklichkeiten. In der Zeit von Computer Generated Imagery (CGI), von virtuell generierten Bildern, ist eine solche Vorstellung längst überholt und es wird zunehmend schwieriger, zwischen realen und virtuell generierten Räumen zu unterschieden.
In der vertiefenden Werkstatt erkunden wir Räume fotografisch, gestalten sie mittels Bildbearbeitungsprogrammen (Adobe Photoshop) sowie Apps auf mobilen Geräten um und fragen nach dem Verhältnis vom Raum und Identität. Studierende erhalten Einblick in verschiedene gestalterische Strategien, durch die Bilder digital konstruiert bzw. manipuliert werden können. Nachdem wir an kleinen Fotoübungen gestalterische Fähigkeiten und den Umgang mit einer digitalen Spiegelreflexkamera erprobt haben, werden fotografierte Räume konstruiert und dekonstruiert, so dass digitale Collagen entstehen. Auch Potenziale für pädagogische Kontexte werden diskutiert.
