392257 ISY Project: Intelligent Information Terminal for Power Consumption in Smart Homes (Pj) (SoSe 2019)

The goal of this project is to create an information terminal for the power consumption in our intelligent apartment (http://aiweb.techfak.uni-bielefeld.de/content/CSRA). As communication partner our virtual agent Flobi can be used. The resulting system should be able to visualize the power consumption over time and highlight unusual increases. Additionally, an interaction scenario with the agent Flobi can be implemented in order to draw the attention of the residents towards these unusual power consumption rises.
- Required skils (e.g. mandatory courses, if required)
- Willingness to familiarize oneself with the used middleware RSB ("Robotics Service Bus") or ROS.
Please note that the teams will be selected by the supervisors on the basis of short applications that students are expected to send to them. Registering to the project in the ekVV will only be regarded as expression of interest; it will not secure a team membership. Please get in touch with the supervisors for information on the application procedure.
