Ziele, Lehrform und Leistungsanforderungen:
Die Veranstaltung will in wesentliche Aspekte der modernen Sozialgeographie als Schnittstelle zwischen Geographie und Soziologie einführen. Mit Hilfe empirischer Beispiele aus der wissenschaftlichen Literatur sollen dabei exemplarisch theoretische Konzepte, Fragestellungen und Methoden sozialgeographischer Forschung verdeutlicht werden. Als Arbeitsformen sind Kurzvorträge, Einzel- (z.B. Textlektüre), Kleingruppenarbeit sowie ein Planspiel vorgesehen.Es können bei regelmäßiger Teilnahme und Übernahme kleinerer Arbeiten 2 Credit-Points erworben werden.

3. Flächennutzungskonkurrenzen im Fremdenverkehrsraum - Das "Atlantis-Projekt" auf Sylt
4. Der Treibhauseffekt - Natürliche Ursachen oder menschliches Versagen?
5. Theorieansätze der Sozialgeographie
6. Einführung in das Kartenverständnis - Blatt "Marsch, Moor, Geest"
