230194 Kritische Perspektiven auf Bilderbücher (BS) (SoSe 2024)

Auf verschiedenen (kinder- und jugendliteraturwissenschaftlichen wie auch verkaufsorientierten) Internetplattformen werden immer wieder Bewertungen zu Bilderbüchern veröffentlicht. Diese sind überdurchschnittlich oft positiver Art, betonen lediglich gelungene Aspekte der Bücher und lassen kritische Reflexionen vermissen. Insbesondere gesellschaftspolitische Themen - so der Eindruck - würden in Bilderbüchern immer außerordentlich gut abgehandelt; dies entspricht jedoch nicht der Wahrheit.
Im Rahmen einer Onlinetagung des Fachbereichs Literaturdidaktik an der Universität Bielefeld vom 25.7.-27.7.2024 wird eine genauere Auseinandersetzung mit der Frage nach Wertungspraktiken von Bilderbüchern und verschiedenen kritischen Perspektiven auf diese stattfinden. Dazu werden verschiedene Expert:innen die jeweiligen Perspektiven, mit denen sie auf Bilderbücher blicken, vorstellen. Im Blockseminar wird im Rahmen erster Auseinandersetzungen mit diesem Thema u.a. eine inhaltliche Vorbereitung auf die Tagung realisiert. Obligatorischer Bestandteil der Studienleistung wird der Besuch einer bestimmten Anzahl an Vorträgen im Rahmen der Tagung sein; Die genaue Zahl der zu besuchenden Vorträge wird zu Beginn des Seminars mitgeteilt.
