Die Immunologie ist eine der modernsten Disziplinen der Life-Sciences und nicht nur aufgrund seiner aktuellen Bezüge ein rapide wachsendes Forschungsfeld. Die Immunantwort des Menschen ist ein faszinierender, sowie überaus wichtiger Prozess welcher die Homöostase des gesunden Organismus aufrecht erhält und diesen vor bedrohlichen Infektionen wie Ebola, Sars-Cov-2 oder Bakterien und Parasiten schützt. In diesem Grundlagenseminar sollen angeborene sowie adaptive Mechanismen des Immunsystems durch die Studierenden anhand des Textbuchs „Immunologie für Einsteiger“ erarbeitet und Ihren Kommiliton*innen in Vorträgen näher gebracht werden.
