This class is geared towards future teachers at secondary schools (Hauptschule, Realschule, Gymnsium, Gesamtschule). It helps students to develop competences in teaching reading and analyzing texts, both fiction and non-fiction. Starting with commentary sections in newspapers, we progress along magazine writing and political speeches (as an instance of oral communication) to lengthy essays, before we turn our attention to poetry, plays, and prose writings.
