270119 Neurokognition und EEG (S) (WiSe 2019/2020)

Ereigniskorrellierte Potenziale (EKPs) werden aus dem Electreencephalogramm (EEG) extrahiert und stellen und eine Kernmethode der kognitiven Neurowissenschaften dar. EKPs sind neuronale Korrelate von kognitiven, motorischen und affektive Prozessen. Sie werden für die Testung neurokognitiver Theorien sowie die Erforschung neurokognitiver Veränderung über die Lebensspanne und in klinischen psychatrischen/neurologischen Populationen verwendet. Im Seminar werden die Grundlagen der Methode vermittelt, die wichtigsten EKP Komponenten aus den Bereichen Wahrnehmung, Aufmerksamkeit, Gedächtnis, Sprache, Motorik und Emotion behandelt und aktuelle Anwendungsbeispiele vorgestellt.

Das Seminar setzt Basiswissen der Kognitiven Neurowissenschaften, wie es in einem BSc-Studium der Psychologie vermittelt wird, voraus.
