In diesem Intensivkurs erarbeiten wir verschiedene Ansätze zur Maschinellen Übersetzung (MT) und machen praktische Erfahrungen mit Übersetzungssystemen. Wir ziehen einen Zusammenhang zu den Lerninhalten in Linguistik und Computerlinguistik und eigenen Fremdsprachen und machen Literaturrecherchen. Lernziele sind: Überblick über Ansätze zur MT, Praktische Erfahrungen mir der Evaluierung von MT, praktische Erfahrungen mit MT, Verbindung eigener Lerninhalte mit MT. Themen der Veranstaltung sind: Motivation für MT, Fragestellungen in der MT, Methoden der MT, das MT-Projekt Verbmobil, MT für Japanisch und Deutsch, MT im praktischen Einsatz und Evaluierung von MT.

Keine Vorkenntnisse erforderlich. Aber eine Anmeldung mit Angabe von Vorkenntnissen ist Voraussetzung zur Teilnahme!
