Schriftliche Arbeiten und die Präsentation wissenschaftlicher Arbeitsergebnisse verbessern die Fähigkeit zur Analyse, zur begrifflichen Reflexion und zum Verständnis theoretischer Texte. In der Auseinandersetzung mit diesen wird das ästhetische Sensorium geschärft, wodurch sich die Fähigkeiten zur mündlichen und schriftlichen Kommunikation komplexer Sachverhalte verbessern.
Im Seminar werden die Grundlagen wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens in der Literatuwissenschaft vermittelt. Es werden u.a. Formalia, Textsorten sowie (Literatur-)Recherche und Präsentationsskills thematisiert. Wesentliche Aspekte werden dabei behandelt und erprobt, wie z.B. die Fragen: Wie findet man ein (Hausarbeits-)Thema? Wie konzipiert man eine interessante Präsentation/ein interessantes Referat? Was ist eine gute These/Fragestellung? Wie findet man passende (Forschungs-)Literatur und wie zitiert man richtig? Was gilt es formal, stilistisch, inhaltlich zu beachten?
Die Aspekte wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens werden jeweils anhand konkreter fachwissenschaftlicher Themen beleuchtet und thematisiert.
In der ersten Sitzung wird eine Schwerpunktfindung erfolgen, in der zusammengetragen wird, was den Teilnehmer*innen bislang die meisten Probleme bereitet bzw. wo (Übungs-)Bedarf besteht.
