Neben der Beschäftigung mit Methodik und Theorie der Dramenanalyse, werden unterschiedliche Dramentexte Inhalt des Seminars sein. Besonderheiten dramatischer Texte werden ebenso besprochen wie Entwicklungen und Konzepte, die sich im Laufe der Geschichte des Dramas gebildet haben. Dabei spielt in der Gattung des Dramas insbesondere seine Orientierung an der szenischen Umsetzung eine Rolle, die sie von anderen literarischen Formen unterscheidet.

Für die Studienleistung wird, in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Dozentin, die Mit-Gestaltung einer Seminarsitzung in Kleingruppen erwartet. Für diese Form der gemeinsamen Seminargestaltung ist die regelmäßige Teilnahme sehr hilfreich! Aktive Mitarbeit in den Diskussionen und vorbereitende Lektüre sind Voraussetzung für eine sinnvolle und lehrreiche Veranstaltung.
Insbesondere die Lektüre der Dramentexte ist elementarer Bestandteil des Seminars, da ohne die Kenntnisse der Primärtexte keine Arbeit möglich ist. Die Angaben dazu werden demnächst hier veröffentlicht, sinnvoll ist es, mit der Lektüre bereits in der vorlesungsfreien Zeit zu beginnen, da dies während des Semesters erfahrungsgemäß schwieriger ist.
