The study group is intended to explore the broad field of “International Studies in Educational Science”. The students will work together in small study groups and decide which aspects of the following subjects they want to deepen:

  • Internationalization, Europeanization, Globalization in the context of Educational Science
  • Comparative Education
  • International Education
  • Cosmopolitan identities
  • Early Childhood Education

The different study groups will work self-study based and present their work at the end of the semester in the seminar class. In regular base the seminar lecturer will supervise the group work of the different study groups.
The study group offers the opportunity for the students to prepare the ungraduaded (for Erasmus students the graded) module exam in accordance with the lecturer of the seminar.
The general exam of the module could be either done by: oral exam (max. 20min), oral presentation and written assignment (max. 1500 words) or portfolio work / report (3000 words).
