This course is a seminar that introduces the rise of multinational enterprises and the growing of their powers as main actors in the complex processes of global governance. Impact of the different policies of multinational enterprises in various areas including human rights, peace and security, and environment protection will be discussed as well as the international enterprises social responsibilities/commitments by public international law. The interact of multinational enterprises with states and other international organizations and entities will also be an area of research in the course.
The number of participants in this seminar is limited to 15 students and the main outlines and topics will be introduced in the introduction lecture.
