Die Bioinformatik ist eines jener Gebiete, in denen heute schon weitgehend Techniken des
"Semantic Web" eingesetzt werden, wie z.B. XML, Ontologien und (semantische) Webservices.
In diesem Seminar sollen die grundlegenden Techniken des "Semantic Web" erarbeitet werden,
angereichert mit Beispielen aus der Bioinformatik.Die Veranstaltung gehört momentan dem "individuellen Ergaenzungsbereich" an und soll künftig
in einen neu zu schaffenden Modul "Semantic Web" integriert werden.

(das trotz des englischen Titels deutschsprachig ist)
von Hitzler, Kroetzsch, Rudolph, Sure, Springer Verlag 2008.Das Buch ist elektronisch erhältlich.
