220088 Die Konstruktion des Feindes in Kriegen, Bürgerkriegen und Revolutionen (19.-20. Jh.) (S) (WiSe 2021/2022)

Im Seminar werden Feindkonstruktionen, und damit verbunden auch Selbstkonstruktionen, in Kriegen, Bürgerkriegen und Revolutionen vom späten 18. Jh. bis ins späte 20. Jh. behandelt. In einem ersten Schritt geht es zunächst um wechselseitige Feindbilder in den deutsch-französischen Kriegen von 1792-1815 und 1870/71. Grundlage dafür ist einerseits das Buch von Michael Jeismann ("Das Vaterland der Feinde"), andererseits ausgewählte Text- und Bildquellen. Im Anschluss sollen u.a. Feindbilder (innere und äußere Feinde) in den beiden Weltkriegen, in den totalitären Systemen des 20. Jh. (NS, Faschismus, Stalinismus) sowie im Kalten Krieg (BRD-DDR) diskutiert werden.
