In den letzten Jahren sind die Zusammenhänge zwischen der Kategorie Geschlecht und Gewalt / Krieg in den Blick der Forschung gerückt. Im Seminar werden Forschungslinien und Forschungskontroversen anhand zentraler Problemstellungen aufgearbeitet. Dabei geht es zum einen um die Epoche der Weltkriege, zum anderen um das Phänomen der sogenannten Neuen Kriege.
