Grundlegende Kenntnisse der quantitativen empirischen Forschungsmethoden sind für das professionelle Handeln von Pädagog*innen heutzutage unabdingbar. Die Vorlesung gibt eine anwendungsorientierte Einführung in die quantitativen Forschungsmethoden der Erziehungswissenschaft. Zunächst werden methodologische Grundlagen sowie der Forschungsprozess skizziert. Weiterhin werden die Formulierung von Fragestellungen und Hypothesen sowie bestimmte Datenerhebungs- und -auswertungsverfahren thematisiert. Die Interpretation der Ergebnisse empirischer Studien und deren Implikationen für das eigene professionelle Handeln sind darüber hinaus Teil der Veranstaltung.
