Please DO NOT sign up for the LPT until the relevant email to all students of English is sent. You should only take the LPT after you have completed the seminars Writing, ACCR and Grammar & Usage.
You do not have to take it in the semester you complete those seminars unless you feel ready to do so. The speaking compontent (interview) and the written component (a one-hour test on grammar and usage, plus a summary of a newspaper article in German of around 400 words into an English version of around 200 words, summing up the main ideas, arguments or facts in the original.
