230090 Advanced Academic Writing in and for Educational Contexts (S) (SoSe 2024)

Contents, comment

Lesson drafts, research papers and reports, teaching concepts - educational contexts require a variety of different genres. This course introduces you to the essential ones both in a receptive and a productive way. Together, we will work on your emerging writing projects, using a hands-on approach that guides you through steps such as finding topics & questions, going through the research cycle, writing exposés & abstracts, structuring your paper, writing a good & catchy introduction, presenting & discussing your results, and much more. In doing so, we will also discuss how digital tools can help structure, organise, and facilitate your writing process in various ways.
