Course provides an introduction to non-equilibrium statistical physics, largely based on the book of N. Pottier on ``Nonequilibrium Statistical Physics``
Topics include:
- Thermodynamics of irreversible processes
- Statistical description of non-eq. systems
- Kinetic theory
- Weak wave turbulence
- Stochastic processes
- Linear repsonse theory
Knowledge of Stat. Mechanics, Classical mechanics and Quantum Mechanics is advantageous.

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete. In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
