The degree programme combines subject-specific and teaching methodology modules designed to prepare students for a career in teaching. Students acquire fundamental skills in historical research methods. They reflect on the use and function of history in public discourse. They learn to develop teaching concepts, test them in practice and subject them to critical scrutiny.
