Music

Music is much more than just a subject. It accompanies us in our everyday lives, whether as a listener at a concert or festival, as a producer of songs and beats on our own tablet or as a musician in a choir or music club. When studying the subject of music, students get to know music in all its diversity. They expand and deepen their singing and instrumental skills, make music together in ensembles and come into contact with current research questions and methods. In addition, they build up sound didactic and pedagogical knowledge that enables them to teach children and young people about the diversity of musical manifestations. Some courses are interdisciplinary in nature and take account of interdisciplinary work in primary schools and aesthetic-artistic learning in the context of cultural education.
