In diesem Seminar sollen anhand der Lektüre von ausgewählten Ausschnitten (vor allem) aus den beiden Werken "Wie liebt man ein Kind" und "Das Recht des Kindes auf Achtung" die pädagogischen Grundsätze des jüdisch-polnischen Schriftstellers, Kinderarztes und Pädagogen Janusz Korczak (1878-1943) auf ihre Relevanz hin erarbeitet werden. Diese Positionen könnten (je nach Interessenlage der Seminar-TeilnehmerInnen) mit den damaligen internationalen "Reformpädagogischen Bewegungen" verglichen werden oder auch als kritische Auseinandersetzung mit aktuellen pädagogischen Diskussionen (Bernhard Bueb: "Lob der Disziplin" und "Von der Pflicht zu führen. Neun Gebote der Bildung") herangezogen werden.
