300470 International Summer School on Men and Masculinities (S) (SoSe 2009)

Contents, comment

This International Summer School is a pilot seminar trying to provide for international as well as German students a challenging topic in English language. The summer school will provide an insight into the steadily spreading research field of masculinity research in a gendered perspective, its main directions of knowledge production (research directions, theories and research findings, public discourses, and politics), and will allow space for students to articulate their research interests.
Students are invited to address their research interests and ideas for papers they want to contribute to Prof. Dr. Ursula Mueller via mail or speaking hour (see homepage).
A more detailed seminar description will be disseminated at the beginning of the summer term.

The time schedule of the seminar will be: 3rd August to 7th August on a daily basis
