Während Herbert Grönemeyer seiner Zeit noch voraus war, ist es heute eine zunehmend legitime Frage, wann ein Mann ein Mann ist. Mannsein ist nicht mehr (immer) selbstverständlich, nicht mehr (immer) der Standard, vor allem aber nicht mehr (immer) ein Privileg. Auf der Grundlage einführender Literatur der Geschlechterforschung werden wir uns dem komplexen Phänomen "Männlichkeit" annähern. Dazu ziehen wir auch Material aus einem aktuell laufenden Forschungsprojekt hinzu.
