In der Vorlesung wird es eine Einführung in den mathematischen Rahmen der Quantenmechanik (Axiome/Postulate/endlichdimensionale Hilbertraeume) und eine
Einführung in die klassische Informationstheorie
(Shannontheorie/ Informationskanäle) geben. Die Grundlagen der Quanteninformationstheorie (Zustandsunterscheidung/ Verschränkungstheorie/ Entropien/
Kanalkodierungen/ Kanalkapazitäten) werden dargestellt.Die Uebungen beginnen in der zweiten Vorlesungswoche.
Ziel: Am Ende des Semesters verstehen die Studierenden den mathematischen Formalismus der (endlich-dimensionalen) Quantenmechanik und die grundlegenden
Konzepte der Quanteninformationstheorie.
