In der Übung soll das Lesen verschiedener Schreibschriften am Beispiel von Akten aus dem Stadtarchiv Bielefeld systematisch eingeübt werden (Kurrent, Sütterlin, Verkehrsschrift von 1934). Dabei bildet die Schulgeschichte den inhaltlichen Schwerpunkt. Am Ende der Übung sollen die Teilnehmer*innen in der Lage sein, Archivgut des 19./20 Jahrhunderts auswerten zu können.
Die Übung findet im Seminarraum des Stadtarchivs am Neumarkt (1. Obergeschoss) statt.

Die Übung wendet sich an Anfänger*innen. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich.
