230485 Das Sonett (S) (WiSe 2008/2009)

1918 reimte der zum Umfeld des Berliner DADA gehörige Salomon Friedländer in einem, traditionellen Regeln folgenden Sonett: „Wer heut’ Sonette macht, ist nur ein Schwein.“ Fünf Jahre später verfasste Rilke die meisterhaft mit der Sonettform spielenden „Sonette an Orpheus“. Was sich an diesen Beispielen aufzeigen lässt, bestimmt die Sonett-Dichtung über Jahrhunderte: eine produktive Spannung zwischen Regelbeherrschung und kalkuliertem Regelbruch. Auf der Spur dieses Spannungsverhältnisses will dieses Seminar exemplarisch die deutschsprachige Sonett-Dichtung vom Barock bis in die Gegenwart behandeln. Verlaufsplan und Lektüreliste des Seminars werden in der ersten Stunde vorgestellt.
