Die UniBigBand bereitet - in neuer Besetzung - im Sommersemester 2017 die Konzertprogramme des Release-Konzertes der zweiten CD im Juni und das nächste Triple Concert im Juli 2017 vor. Probenbeginn ist der 14.03.2017.
Im neuen Programm werden sich, neben bewährten Titeln, die Neuzugänge "King Porter '94", "Slow Dance" und "Remembering"von Bob Brookmeyer "Soundpieces for Jazz Orchestra" von Oliver Nelson, "Shady Side" von Neal Slater und Arrangements von "Joy Spring" und "Chelsea Bridge" von HHRösch finden.
Die UBB kann z.Z. nur noch personelle Verstärkung an den Tasteninstrumenten und Drums gebrauchen.
Voraussetzung: Blattspiel-Fähigkeit, nötige Instrumentaltechnik, Erfahrung in Bigbands, Solo-Spiel, Spiel- und Stilsicherheit in Jazzstilistiken, Zuverlässigkeit und regelmäßige Probenteilnahme sind grundlegend und Pflicht.
