In der Vorlesung wird der sog. „Allgemeine Teil“ des Strafrechts bzw. der Strafrechtswissenschaft dargestellt. Dabei geht es um die Lehre von der Straftat mit ihren Merkmalen, die für alle einzelnen Straftaten von Bedeutung sind, um die „Logik“ des Straftatbegriffs, der zugleich ein Prüfungsschema darstellt, und um die strafrechtliche Fachsprache und Methodik. Exkurse zu philosophischen und sozialwissenschaftlichen Fragen sowie zur Einordnung des Strafrechts in das allgemeine Rechtssystem (vor allem das Verfassungsrecht) bringen die Fundamente in Sicht. In diesem Semester wird das vorsätzliche Begehungsdelikt im Zentrum stehen. Die Vorlesung wird im nächsten Semester fortgeführt.
