In diesem Seminar werden die zentralen fachdidaktischen Prinzipien der Texterschließung, Übersetzung und Interpretation in Theorie und Praxis thematisiert.
Zum einen wird geklärt, was diese Prinzipien im Kontext des Lateinunterrichts, vor allem demjenigen der Sekundarstufe II, vor dem Hintergrund der Kompetenzorientierung für funktionelle Bedeutungen haben. Zum anderen werden mit Hilfe von ausgewählten Textauszügen lateinischer Originallektüre diese methodischen Funktionen innerhalb des Seminars anwendungsorientiert und praxisnah erprobt.
Darüber hinaus ist eine Hospitation im Lateinunterricht der Oberstufe geplant, die nicht nur einen Einblick in die methodische Umsetzung der Textarbeit, sondern auch in den Alltag des Unterrichtsgeschehens ermöglich soll.
