This course will prepare you for the classroom research projects you are going to plan and carry out during your "Praxissemester" at a secondary school and also give you an overview of the formal structure of classroom research reports. For this purpose you will identify and specify potential topics for classroom research projects and gain some insight into various research approaches, methods and techniques in language teaching. Based on these, you will prepare and submit written drafts of two mock projects of your own design, taking into account subject-related and didactic issues and justifying your choice of methods and research design.
