In dem Seminar zur Vertiefung qualitativer Methoden werden qualitative Einzel- wie auch Paar- und Gruppeninterviews vertieft. Dabei werden sowohl narrative als auch Leitfaden-gestützte Interviewführungen diskutiert, der Schwerpunkt wird allerdings auf narrativen Interviews liegen.
So wird in der Veranstaltung behandelt, inwieweit Befragungen in der qualitativen Forschung eingesetzt werden und wie sich diese von standardisierten Umfragen unterscheiden. Dazu gehört die Auseinandersetzung mit theoretischen Grundlagen, etwa mit dem Wirklichkeits- und Darstellungsbegriff sowie dem Interaktionsgeschehen bei der Befragung. Hiervon ausgehend werden ausgewählte Probleme qualitativer Interviews besprochen.
Das Seminar stellt keine Wiederholung eines Tutoriums zur Vorlesung bzw. kein Methodentraining dar. Entsprechend sind auch die Studien- und Prüfungsleistungen über das Niveau einfacher Anleitungen oder Berichte, wie man ein Interview (ge)führt hat, hinauszuführen.
