In welchem Ausmaß Kinder den Bedingungen der Schule, des sozialen Umfelds sowie der Gesellschaft gerecht werden können, hängt erwiesenermaßen von den Eltern und stattfindenden Prozessen in der Familie ab. In dem Seminar sollen ausgewählte Entwicklungsbereiche (kognitive, motivationale, sozio-emotionale) näher betrachtet und die Rolle der Eltern bzw. der Familie explizit beleuchtet werden

Requirements for participation, required level

Für die organisatorische Planung des Seminars ist die Anwesenheit in der ersten Sitzung unbedingt erforderlich! Sämtliche Restplätze werden ebenfalls in der ersten Sitzung vergeben, ein späterer Einstieg ist nicht möglich!
Grundlegende Kenntnisse aus der Vorlesung Psychologie für die Schule sowie empirischer Forschungsmethoden werden vorausgesetzt.
Die Seminarteilnehmer/innen sollten mit englischen Texten arbeiten können.

Relevante Literatur wird in der ersten Sitzung genannt.
