230372 Monster im Kinderbuch (S) (WiSe 2008/2009)

Das Monster ist im Kinderbuch eine verbreitete Figur, die in mannigfachen Gestalten und Verkleidungen auftritt, von Maurice Sendaks Wo die wilden Kerle wohnen bis zum Drachen Nepomuk bei Michael Ende oder Juli und das Monster von Kirsten Boie. Um zu verstehen, was die Kinder an Monstern fasziniert und möglicherweise erschreckt, um sich sinnvoll überlegen zu können, welche Arten von Monstern pädagogisch wertvoll und welche problematisch sind, wann sie den Kindern nahegebracht oder von ihnen ferngehalten werden sollen, muß man sich zunächst mit der Frage beschäftigen, was Monster eigentlich sind, was sie tun und woher sie kommen. Dies wird das Seminar tun. Parallel dazu wird von den TeilnehmerInnen eine möglichst umfangreiche Sammlung von Monstern in Kinderbüchern angelegt.
