Die Blockvorlesung gibt einen Einblick in die Nutzung von
Bildverarbeitung im Automobilbereich mit Schwerpunkt auf
Fahrerassistenzsystemen. Sie richtet sich an Studierende ab dem 5.
Fachsemester, die die Vorlesung Bildverarbeitung bereits gehört haben.
Die Vorlesung gibt zuerst einen
allgemeinen Überblick über Bildverarbeitungsanwendungen im
Automobilbereich. Nach der Vorstellung der unterschiedlichen, im
Automobilbereich zum Einsatz kommenden, Sensorarten werden Algorithmen
betrachtet, die typischerweise zur Verarbeitung von Bilddaten in
Straßenszenen eingesetzt werden. Dies beginnt bei sensornahen
Verarbeitungsschritten wie z.B. der Helligkeitsnormalisierung und reicht
bis zu Objekterkennungsmethoden. Aufbauend auf den einzelnen Methoden
wird dann auf die Integration in komplexere Gesamtsysteme eingegangen
und einige für den Automobilbereich entwickelte Systeme werden
detaillierter behandelt. Hierbei wird insbesondere auf die Vor- und
Nachteile der unterschiedlichen Integrationsansätze eingegangen, um den
Teilnehmern ein konkretes Verständnis für die Herausforderungen bei der
Realisierung von Bildverarbeitungssystemen zu vermitteln.
Die aktive Teilnahme an der Vorlesung ergibt 1 Leistungspunkt.
