Das Seminar soll Workshop-Charakter haben. Dabei sollen englische Gedichte des 20. Jahrhunderts ins Deutsche übersetzt werden.
In Einzelarbeit bzw. in kleineren Gruppen werden entsprechende Entwürfe entwickelt und verfeinert.
Ziel des Seminars ist es, anhand von praktischen Problemen des Verständnisses, der Interpretation sowie der Findung entsprechender Formulierungen in einer zweiten Sprache Erfahrung zu sammeln, um die eigene Kompetenz zu verbessern.
Am Ende des Seminars findet eine Reflexion über dieses eminent hermeneutische Vorgehen statt.
Die Teilnehmerzahl ist auf 15 begrenzt.
Ein Reader mit ausgewählten englischen Gedichten wird Anfang Oktober 08 zur Verfügung stehen.
Teilnehmer/innen können auch ein englisches Gedicht ihrer Wahl aus dem 20. Jhdt. zum Übersetzen mitbringen.
