In der Übung werden Quellen und Texte zur sowjetischen Alltagsgeschichte bis 1945 behandelt. Die in englischer bzw. deutscher Sprache vorliegenden Quellen beziehen sich vorwiegend auf die Bereiche Familie, Konsum, Arbeitsleben, die Wirkungen von Terror und Denunziationen sowie das Herausbilden von spezifischen Überlebensstrategien.
