Traurige Tropen? Nicht doch: für viele Biologen sind die Tropen immer noch das Nonplusultra, sind doch hier Vielfalt und Interaktionen des Lebens besonders ausgeprägt. Dieses Seminar soll einen Einblick geben in die grundsätzlichen Charakteristika und die faszinierenden Besonderheiten der Tropen, aber auch die Herausforderungen für die moderne Tropenökologie ansprechen. Leistungskontrolle: Seminarvortrag, Mitarbeit.
