Die Veranstaltung dient der Einführung in Begrifflichkeiten, Denkrichtungen und Themenbereiche der Wissenschaftssoziologie.
Sie befasst sich insbesondere mit:
- der historischen Ausdifferenzierung und Autonomisierung der Wissenschaft;
- ihren internen kognitiven und sozialen Strukturen sowie Funktionsweisen;
- ihrem Verhältnis zu gesellschaftlichen Werten und politischen Entscheidungen.
Die Arbeitsweise wird in dem Erarbeiten und der Diskussion von Referaten zu einzelnen Themen bestehen. Ein ausführlicher Themen- und Literaturplan ist zu Semesterbeginn erhältlich.
Hinweis für Studierende des MA HPSS:
Eine Leistungsbescheinigung kann entweder für eine Hausarbeit, ein Referat (bzw. vergleichbare Leistung) oder eine aktive Teilnahme ausgestellt werden. Die Leistungspunkte werden erst nach Absolvierung aller Einzelleistungen der drei Lehrveranstaltungen des Moduls vergeben.
