Typen, Charakterisierungen und Systematik der affinen Abbildungen der elementaren affinen Ebene werden zunächst untersucht. Es folgt die Betrachtung von projektiven Abbildungen der elementaren affinen Ebene und Erweiterung zur elementaren projektiven Ebene in verschiedener geometrischer und analytischer Darstellung.
Im zweiten Teil des Proseminars geht es um Definition und grundlegende Sätze über abstrakte affine und projektive Ebenen sowie insbesondere ihren Automorphismen (Kollineationen).

Erarbeitung und Vorstellung von ausgewählten Themen des Proseminarinhalts sowie eine Dokumentation des Erarbeitungs- und Vorstellungsprozesses.
Jeweils einmal in der ersten Hälfte des Semesters und einmal in der zweiten Hälfte des Semesters soll ein Referat (jeweils möglichst als Zweiergruppe) gehalten werden. Die Texte dafür werden rechtzeitig vorher in elektronischer Fassung per E-Mail zugesandt. Die Terminverteilung erfolgt rechtzeitig über doodle.
Außerdem soll in einzelnen Proseminarsitzungen an bestimmten mit dem Inhalt zusammenhängenden Problemen in Gruppen gearbeitet werden.
