Das Seminar thematisiert Druckprozesse im Zuge von Ausstiegs- und Abwendungs-vorgängen von Menschen, die in kriminellen oder extremen Gruppen involviert sind bzw. waren. Zentral sind die Erkenntnislagen der Desistanceforschung und Studien, die sich mit der Distanzierung aus extremen sozialen Zusammenhängen beschäftigen. Ziel des Seminars ist es eine Heuristik zu entwickeln. Diese sollte in der Lage sein Druckprozesse, die mit Bewegungen der Abstandsnahme einhergehen anhand qualitativer Daten konzeptionell zu fassen und in ihrer Breite und Tiefe zu rekonstruieren. In diesem Zusammenhang gilt es ebenfalls das Verhältnis von Theorie und Empirie kritisch zu diskutieren.
Texte werden zu Beginn des Seminars zur Verfügung gestellt.
