In diesem Seminar steht der moderne Lateinunterricht der Sekundarstufe I im Fokus.
Das heißt, dass insbesondere die Arbeit mit gängigen Lehrbüchern, aber auch mit ausgewählten Textauszügen originaler Schriftstücke thematisiert wird. Diese Arbeit wird hinsichtlich der Grundlagen fachdidaktischer Konzepte und Methoden reflektiert. Ein Ziel ist, ein theoretisches Wissen über diese Grundlagen zu erhalten. Ein weiteres Ziel ist, dieses deklarative Wissen auch anwendungsbezogen zu erproben.
Modern ist der Lateinunterricht u.a. deshalb, weil er zum einen die curricular verankerte Kompetenzorientierung, zum anderen die sich im Wandel befindliche Schulentwicklung berücksichtigt. Inklusion, individuelle Förderung und die mediale Vernetzung sind nur einige Beispiele, die auch in der Planung des Lateinunterrichts notwendigerweise zu beachten sind.
Um vor diesem Hintergrund die Ziele den TeilnehmerInnen zu ermöglichen, sollen eigene Unterrichtsentwürfe erstellt werden, die die Theorie des modernen Lateinunterrichts auch für die Praxis eines solchen nutzbar machen sollen.
