Dieses Seminar befasst sich sowohl mit gesprochener als auch geschriebener Sprache. Dazu werden die Teilnehmenden zunächst verschiedene Dimensionen von Mündlichkeit und Schriftlichkeit kennenlernen sowie deren Relevanz vor allem auch für die schulische Sprachbildung betrachten. Des Weiteren werden im Seminar verschiedene Sprach- und Schriftsysteme untersucht und verglichen. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt dieses Seminars liegt auf dem Schriftspracherwerb, unter anderem vor dem Hintergrund der Mehrsprachigkeit.
