Im Rahmen dieses Angebotes werden medientechnische Grundbegriffe und Kenntnisse wie auch deren praktische Umsetzung am Beispiel von aktueller Berichterstattung (Tagesschau) vermittelt. Im Einzelnen sollen in verschiedenen Seminarblöcken hierzu notwendige Kompetenzen erworben werden. Die Schwerpunkte liegen auf den Bereichen Stofferarbeitung, Einführung bzw. Vertiefung in die Kameraarbeit und digitalen Videoschnitt. Beispielhaft werden Nachrichtensendungen analysiert. Die praktische Umsetzung des in dem Theorie-Modul erworbenen Hintergrundwissens wird in dem Praxis-Modul vertieft. In Kleingruppen wird ein aktuelles Thema der Tagespresse zu einer Filmberichterstattung verarbeitet, so dass im Rahmen der Kameraarbeit technische und Bedienerkompetenzen sowie gestalterische Komponenten (Bildaufbau/Gestaltung/Einstellungsgrößen) wie auch ihre Wirkung behandelt und erlernt werden können.
