Mit der Gesprächsreihe „Karriere(t)räume“ entsteht ein offenes Forum für den Austausch über akademische Karrierewege. Prof‘in Tina Lonsdorf, Prof. Fabian Wolff & Prof. Tobias Hecker berichten hier persönlich, praxisnah und authentisch von ihren Erfahrungen – auch von Umwegen, Zweifeln und unerwarteten Wendungen. Ziel ist es, insbesondere jungen Wissenschaftler:innen Orientierung zu bieten, Perspektiven sichtbar zu machen und Mut für den eigenen Weg zu geben. Im Mittelpunkt stehen dabei nicht perfekte Lebensläufe, sondern echte Geschichten hinter den Kulissen wissenschaftlicher Karrieren. Das Thema Emmy Noether dient als inspirierender Ausgangspunkt. Das Format: eine kurze Einführung, gefolgt von einem moderierten, informellen Dialog – offen, ehrlich und nahbar.

The “Career Dreams” lecture series creates an open forum for discussion about academic career paths. Prof. Tina Lonsdorf, Prof. Fabian Wolff, and Prof. Tobias Hecker share their experiences in a personal, practical, and authentic way—including detours, doubts, and unexpected twists. The goal is to offer guidance—especially to young researchers—to highlight different perspectives, and to encourage them to forge their own paths. The focus is not on perfect résumés, but on real stories from behind the scenes of academic careers. The legacy of Emmy Noether serves as an inspiring starting point. The format: a brief introduction followed by a moderated, informal dialogue—open, honest, and approachable.
